About Mr. Reed
I am a graduate of Hastings Senior High School and UNK. 2008-2009 will be my ninth year teaching at Southern Valley Jr/Sr High School.
I currently teach 7th and 8th Grade Social Studies, 11th and 12th Grade Modern Problems, and 11th and 12th Psychology/Sociology. In the past, I have also taught Geography and American History.
I was an assistant football coach at S.V. from 2000-2003 and the head football coach during the 2004-2007 seasons, during which we made the playoffs twice and became the first football team at S.V. to beat Cambridge. I was also the head junior high girls and boys basketball coach.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to coaching clinics, reading, golfing, fishing, and hunting. My wife's name is Jill and we have two daughters: Natalie and Lillie.
My favorite sports teams are the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Arkansas Razorbacks.
